Under general direction of the CEA, the IT Supervisor II serves as an integral member of the Office of Statewide Technology Procurement's (OSTP) management team and has responsibility for the oversight of complex acquisitions related to non-delegated IT and Telecommunications (Telecom) projects in accordance with Public Contract Code Sections 6611 12100 and 12120 and compliance with the Project Approval Lifecycle (PAL) Framework. The IT Supervisor II position is designated under the Conflict of Interest Code. The IT Supervisor II is responsible for making, or participating in the making of governmental decisions that may potentially have a material effect on personal financial interests. The appointee is required to complete form 700 within thirty (30) days of appointment. Failure to comply with the Conflict of Interest Code requirements, may void the appointment. Telework This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule within California based on departmental policy and operational needs. The telework policy is subject to change depending on business needs, and/or reporting to the work site may be required with minimal notification given. Pursuant to Executive Order, effective July 1, 2025, employees in this position will be required to report to the work site a minimum of two (2) days per week, increasing to four (4) days per week effective July 1, 2026. The specific on-site days will be determined by the department based on operational requirements.
