About The Position

ExploreMyPC is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled IT Specialist Intern to join our team on a part-time basis. This internship is ideal for students currently enrolled in an IT or related degree program who are looking to gain practical experience in IT management. The role involves supporting our IT infrastructure, assisting with various technical tasks, and working with Office365 software. The position offers a flexible schedule to accommodate your academic commitments.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency with Office365 software and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Apple products, and Windows 10 operating systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical users.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions from senior IT staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for Microsoft Office, Apple products, and Windows 10 operating systems, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues for staff.
• Assist with the administration and support of Office365 applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Help maintain and monitor our IT systems, including software updates, backups, and network performance.
• Create and update technical documentation, including user guides and IT procedures.
• Support IT projects related to system upgrades, software deployments, and new technology implementations.
• Assist in managing and tracking IT inventory, including hardware and software assets.
• Aid in implementing and monitoring security measures to protect company data and systems.
