About The Position
This position provides hybrid telework opportunities, with employees required to work in person at their designated approved HQ location at least two (2) days per week and as needed/required. Beginning July 1, 2025, all DGS employees will be required to work in office at their assigned HQ location four (4) days per week and as needed/required in alignment with Executive Order N-22-25. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment. Under general direction of the Information Technology (IT) Manager I, the IT Specialist II in the Department of General Services, Enterprise technology Solutions within the Information Security Engineering domain, fulfills the duties responsible for risk management, compliance management, systems security planning, development of security policies and procedures, and collaboration with security operations and other units within the Enterprise Technology Solutions (ETS) of DGS in order to ensure business success throughout all phases of the System/Software Development Life Cycle.
