About The Position
Are you an Information Technology (IT) professional with experience working with multi-storage solutions and virtual infrastructure? If so, come join our impressive IT team! State Fund's IT Server Operations department is looking for a Storage and Virtualization Administrator to provide enterprise support. Under general direction by the Server Operations Supervisor II, you will be responsible for: Allocating storage resources, managing performance and ensuring system uptime. Continuously tracking storage performance, identifying bottlenecks and resolving issues proactively. Executing data migrations, firmware upgrades, and technology refreshes to maintain reliability. Installing, upgrading, or decommissioning of designated systems, products and infrastructure. Working with cross functional teams to integrate and troubleshoot storage infrastructure. Creating and maintaining records of storage configurations, procedures and performance metrics. Providing on-site and remote technical assistance to other resources and to customers. Participating in problem management and root cause analysis. Participating in virtualization projects. Maintaining 24x7 availability and monitoring of business system servers.
