About The Position
This position offers an exciting opportunity to participate in delivering a new Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System (CCWIS) with Child Welfare Digital Services (CWDS), a unique collaboration involving the California Health and Human Services Office of Technology and Solutions Integration (CalHHS OTSI), the California Department of Social Services (CDSS), and California's Counties and Tribes. Under the direction of the CWDS Infrastructure Manager, Information Technology Supervisor II, the Information Technology Specialist I (ITS I), works independently to oversee and maintain the operational health of the Office of Technology and Solutions Integration (OTSI) Child Welfare Digital Services (CWDS) County and State Projects, Network Infrastructure, CWDS Application Support, and Infrastructure support. The ITS I, provides support on a variety of the most complex network support services which includes troubleshooting incidents, network equipment, installation, vendor support and project assignments. This position is also responsible for analysis, coordination, customer, and vendor support which includes the California Department of Technology. The ITS I will also be an ongoing contributor to the CWDS applications including the development and ongoing operations support of a complex, cloud-native environment that supports a mission critical service delivery environment using Agile methodology and continuous integration / continuous delivery (CI/CD).
