About The Position
The New York State Comptroller's Office is seeking an Information Technology Specialist 3 (NYHELPS) to join their team. This position is responsible for a variety of IT functions including the installation, testing, and maintenance of end user and enterprise hardware and software. The specialist will oversee the scheduling of IT system job productions, manage help desk operations, and participate in the procurement process for hardware and software. Additionally, the role involves developing and supervising the deployment of networked systems, implementing information security procedures, and participating in application testing. The position is contingent permanent and offers a full-time work schedule with a 37.5-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 4 PM.
