About The Position
This position resides on the Pension Payroll Support Team in the bureau of Bureau of PeopleSoft and Payment Application within the Chief Information Office. The role involves collaborating with functional and business units from the Division of Retirement Services to gather and refine business requirements, analyzing functional requirements, and developing technical specifications. The specialist will investigate ways to apply delivered PeopleSoft technology as a solution to business problems, analyze the best approach for implementing customizations, and assist team members in creating design documents and other related system documentation. The position also includes coding new programs and modules, ensuring coding standards follow best practices, performing adequate program testing, and troubleshooting production issues.
