This position is on the Bureau of Security and Workstation Management in the Chief Information Office. Staff will install, configure, and support Microsoft Teams Rooms and AV systems, manage software deployments, Intune policies, and mobile devices, administer print servers and resolve desktop issues, develop automation scripts, reports, and documentation. This position collaborates with team(s), communicates status updates, and ensures system health and security across workstations and conferencing environments.

  • 60 semester credit hours including or supplemented by 15 semester credit hours in computer science and one year of professional experience in information technology.
  • A total of two years of experience in information technology.
  • Demonstrated coursework with Operating Systems (2 to 4 credit hours).
  • Demonstrated coursework with System Analysis and Design (2 to 4 credit hours).
  • Demonstrated coursework with Technical Writing (2 to 4 credit hours).
  • Demonstrated experience in Personal Computer Installation, Diagnosis and Repair (3 months to less than 1 year).
  • Demonstrated experience in Printer Management.
  • Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Intune.
  • Demonstrated experience in Office 365.
  • Demonstrated experience in using and supporting Microsoft Active Directory and Entra.
  • Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting desktop related technical issues.

  • Demonstrated experience in strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
