The Department of Financial Services is seeking candidates for the position of Information Technology Specialist 2 (Programming) in The Technology Bureau.

Requirements

• A bachelor's or higher-level degree including or supplemented by 15 semester credit hours in computer science
• A bachelor's or higher-level degree in any field and one year of experience in information technology
• 60 semester credit hours including or supplemented by 15 semester credit hours in computer science and one year of professional experience in information technology
• Two years of professional experience in information technology

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and maintains applications using Java, PL/SQL, Oracle APEX or low code SalesForce/Dynamics
• Works with business owners and development teams to develop solutions to meet business requirements
• Troubleshoots development and production problems
• Develops and maintains documentation
• Assists in the research and selection of tools, products, and frameworks as necessary
• Updates job knowledge by researching new technologies and software products
• Participates in team meetings
