About The Position
This is a Software Developer and Application Support position in a large, complex local government organization. This position is within the Miami-Dade County Information Technology Department and provides support services to applications for the Miami-Dade Police Department. This position will support the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) in a forensics setting. This position entails working closely with end users and the system vendor on day to day operational support, system administration tasks such as configuration, migration, and upgrades, as well as requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, development and testing of reports and enhancements to the LIMS system. This is a hybrid position primarily working from home with regular on-site work based in Miami, Florida. Candidates must be local to Miami-Dade County or surrounding area.
