About The Position

We are seeking a Mid-Level Cybersecurity Engineer to join our Cyber team, with a primary focus on cloud security and data loss prevention (DLP). This role will focus on securing enterprise cloud environments, implementing robust DLP strategies to protect sensitive data, and ensuring compliance with security standards. The position also involves designing and maintaining security controls, supporting fraud prevention initiatives, and contributing to our Secure Service Edge (SSE) architecture. Collaboration with infrastructure teams is essential, and occasional off-hours support may be required during major incidents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or relevant experience
  • 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or related roles.
  • Hands-on experience in cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Practical exposure to DLP implementation and policy management.
  • Familiarity with several of the following technologies: SIEM, EDR, Endpoint Security, Email Security, Identity Security, Secure Service Edge, Network Security, Vulnerability Management, DLP, CASB.
  • Prior experience with Cloud Security platforms (CNAPP/CSPM, CIEM, SSPM)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex security issues.
  • Demonstrated interest in cybersecurity and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across technical teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience implementing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) across endpoints, email, and cloud.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and enforcing cloud security standards and guardrails.
  • Designing and operating SSE components (ZTNA, SWG, CASB, FWaaS).
  • Implementing and tuning DLP policies across email, endpoints, and SaaS platforms.
  • Supporting cyber fraud detection and prevention initiatives.
  • Collaborating with infrastructure teams to ensure secure configurations and integrations.
  • Monitoring and responding to security alerts, including scheduled SOC coverage one day per week and occasional off-hours incident support.
  • Participating in an on-call rotation to provide timely response to security incidents.
  • Assisting with automation and orchestration buildout and testing to improve efficiency and response times.
  • Cross-training on other technologies used within the Cyber team to ensure coverage and knowledge sharing.
  • Documenting playbooks, processes and procedures for compliance and operational excellence.
