A large regulated utility organization is seeking an experienced Information Technology (IT) Project Manager to support its Enterprise Project Management Office. The organization follows a rigorous Enterprise Project Management Process to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery of strategic initiatives. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for managing 2–5 concurrent enterprise-level projects in the initiation, planning, and execution phases. This role requires strong PMP-aligned project management expertise, adherence to enterprise governance, and the ability to deliver projects on scope, schedule, and budget while supporting organizational strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities The contracted Project Manager will: Manage 2–5 concurrent enterprise-level projects across initiation, planning, and execution phases, ensuring compliance with the organization’s Enterprise Project Management Process. Lead all project management activities aligned with PMP standards, including project readiness, detailed planning, resource coordination, risk management, communication management, execution monitoring, and project closeout per required phase gates. Develop and maintain required project artifacts including: Business Cases Stakeholder Lists Communication Plans Project Charters Risk Registers Project Schedules with milestones Benefit Realization Plans Status Reports Facilitate formal phase-gate reviews and authorizations across Initiation → Planning → Execution → Closing, ensuring all deliverables meet required inputs, outputs, and approval criteria. Collaborate with planning coordinators, analysts, project sponsors, and other key stakeholders to confirm funding, resources, and alignment with enterprise priorities. Monitor and control project scope, schedule, cost, and risks; initiate Change Requests in accordance with established approval thresholds. Provide regular and ad hoc status updates using systems of record such as ServiceNow PPM, SAP BPC, and PowerBI dashboards. Lead project closeout activities including lessons learned documentation and benefits realization follow-up. Ensure adherence to organizational ethical standards, governance requirements, delegated authority rules, and reporting expectations.
