About The Position

The Information Technology Project Manager at Regions Bank is responsible for independently managing medium to large scale projects that are significant in scope. This role ensures that projects are completed on time and within budget while collaborating with various teams to achieve specific business outcomes throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or related degree
• Four (4) years of project management experience

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
• Project Management Institute-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Responsibilities

• Defines, develops, and manages overall project plans to ensure work is assigned and completed on time
• Accesses and manages risk throughout the project lifecycle and works with project stakeholders to deliver risk mitigation plans
• Guides teams through project structuring, problem definition, issue identification, and resolution development
• Works independently to draft project deliverables with minimal review from management
• Applies project management tools and templates to manage projects successfully
• Maintains ownership of timelines and deliverables during all phases of a project
• Translates strategy into tangible and actionable delivery work based on business needs
• Identifies, engages, and partners with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve project outcomes
• Manages technology projects related to network upgrades, hardware installations, software development, and data management
• Provides project and departmental status reporting
• Executes departmental tasks as assigned
• May work on multiple initiatives with cross-functional teams simultaneously
