About The Position

Verbatim Americas seeks an INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY MANAGER to assist the global IT team in coordinating, planning, and implementing technology-related initiatives and supporting our company operations. This position is based in Charlotte, NC.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business or a related area; and 1 to 3 yrs related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams and Microsoft Project.
  • Extensive knowledge of SAP including HANA.
  • General knowledge of network functions and connectivity.
  • Superior customer service and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail; the ability to multi-task; including the ability to be flexible and adapt to change.

Responsibilities

  • Supports users across the entire enterprise with problem solving, daily functions and investigating new functions to achieve their objectives.
  • Knowledge of SAP including HANA.
  • Interacts with contractors that support the enterprise system.
  • Responds to users in a timely manner and assists with coordinating resources to solve issues.
  • Interacts and coordinates with all functional areas to ensure that processes, procedures and system tools are developed, documented and utilized to maximize accuracy, efficiency and achievement of company goals for that functional area.
  • Interacts with external IT support companies to resolve issues.
  • Knowledge of systems and infrastructure is critical.
  • Identifies and implements process automation improvements where necessary.
  • Develops and creates Excel macros and reporting as requested.
  • Develops and creates new processing as requested by business areas.
  • Identifies and implements procedural improvements where necessary.
  • Examines existing business procedures and seeks automation and efficiency.
