The IT Manager / ISSM is responsible for overseeing the IT infrastructure and ensuring the security of the organization's information systems, including Industrial Control Systems (ICS). This role includes managing IT staff, including the IT Administrator, and leading initiatives to enhance the efficiency, security, and performance of IT operations. The IT Manager / ISSM will also serve as the Information System Security Manager, requiring a CISSP or Provisional CISSP certification.   Work Model: Onsite/In-Offce

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Five (5) years of experience in IT management, including experience with Industrial Control Systems (ICS).
  • Proven experience in managing IT staff and projects.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Provisional CISSP required.
  • CompTIA Security+ CE Required if Provisional CISSP.
  • Must have an active Secret Clearance and able to maintain for the duration.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, or similar are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee the administration of storage devices (SANs), VMware hosts, Windows servers and desktops, mobile devices, VoIP phones, web-based applications, and inventory.
  • Ensure the optimal performance, security, and reliability of all IT systems.
  • Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Staff Management: Lead and manage IT staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Assign tasks, provide guidance, and ensure the team meets organizational objectives and service levels.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Project Management: Plan and oversee IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to align IT initiatives with business goals.
  • Information System Security Management (ISSM): Serve as the Information System Security Manager for Industrial Control Systems (ICS).
  • Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and controls to protect ICS and other critical systems.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and security audits.
  • Respond to security incidents and coordinate incident response efforts.
  • Cybersecurity: Lead cybersecurity initiatives to protect IT systems and data from threats.
  • Monitor for security breaches and respond to incidents promptly.
  • Educate staff on cybersecurity best practices and policies.
  • Networking: Oversee the management of network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless networks.
  • Ensure network availability, performance, and security.
  • Troubleshoot complex networking issues and coordinate with service providers as needed.
  • Budgeting and Procurement: Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Oversee the procurement of IT equipment, software, and services.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT systems, configurations, and security measures.
  • Prepare and present reports on IT performance, security, and project progress to senior management.
