About The Position

Located in Des Moines, IA, the Intern provides first-level technical help desk support to end users, with a focus on supporting iOS devices alongside general IT helpdesk duties. This role offers hands-on experience troubleshooting mobile devices, assisting users, and supporting the Helpdesk team. As part of the internship, the position will see occasional travel to support users or other Atlantic Coca-Cola Bottling Company locations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
  • Must meet company insurance eligibility requirements
  • Strong technical capacity.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Inquisitive and willing to learn.
  • Good organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities, with good problem-resolution and analytical thinking skills.
  • Excellent team-player; strong customer service skills.
  • Flexible with the ability to adapt to varying situations.
  • Must provide professional contact and appearance with customers which upholds Atlantic Bottling’s brand image.
  • Regular attendance is required and considered an essential job function.

Nice To Haves

  • Preference given to students pursuing an Associates/Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (IT) or related field.
  • Familiarity with iOS devices and basic mobile device management concepts preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365 is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for iOS devices (iPhones, iPads), including setup, configuration, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Assist users with email, applications, connectivity, and device security.
  • Respond to helpdesk tickets, phone calls, and walk-up support requests.
  • Support user account management, password resets, and access requests.
  • Document issues and resolutions; escalate complex issues as needed.
