About The Position

Cardinal Health's Summer Internship Program is a structured 10-12 week experience designed for undergraduate students who will be entering their senior year and are eager to make an impact. As an intern, you'll work on meaningful, business-critical projects that contribute to real outcomes while gaining exposure to the healthcare industry. Interns collaborate with Cardinal Health professionals, business partners, customers, and vendors on impactful projects and daily responsibilities. Each intern also serves on a planning committee to enhance leadership skills and concludes the summer by presenting their work to business leaders.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, MIS or a related field, preferred
  • Expected graduation between December 2026 and June 2027, preferred
  • Project management experience, preferred
  • Experience with various software and platforms, preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication and analytical skills
  • Participation in extracurricular activities, community organizations and/or professional associations
  • Must have unlimited work authorization in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Responsibilities

  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Create technical documentation and specifications for single system components
  • Administer project plans, budgets and other key deliverables for project managers
  • Participate in testing execution efforts
  • Collect data, perform basic needs analysis and effectively communicate results
  • Analyze data between multiple systems and make appropriate updates
  • Work with business and IT resources to resolve data quality issues
  • Test, monitor and review implemented solutions; perform analysis of collected data and communicate findings to appropriate parties
  • Other duties upon request
