About The Position
POSITION OVERVIEW As an IT Intern at Magna, you will work closely with our IT Team to provide essential support for our IT infrastructure.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of computer systems, operating systems, and software.
- Familiarity with network and system security.
- Knowledge of hardware and software installation.
- Currently enrolled in a college or university pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficient Computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Professional Communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Technical support: Provide technical assistance and troubleshoot issues with computers, software, printers, and other equipment.
- Installation and maintenance: Assist with software installation, hardware setups, and system updates.
- System monitoring and backups: Help monitor system performance and perform routine backups.
- Inventory and documentation: Maintain records of IT assets, including hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Project assistance: Support IT projects, which may include network maintenance, application deployment, or cloud infrastructure management.
- Research: Research technology solutions and assist in resolving unusual technical problems.
