About The Position

THE IT INTERN WILL SUPPORT THE DAY-TO-DAY OPERATIONS OF THE IT DEPARTMENT, ASSISTING WITH HARDWARE, SOFTWARE, AND NETWORK-RELATED TASKS. THIS ROLE PROVIDES HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, EXPOSURE TO ENTERPRISE SYSTEMS, AND THE OPPORTUNITY TO DEVELOP TECHNICAL, PROBLEM-SOLVING, AND CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS IN A PROFESSIONAL ENVIRONMENT. THE IT INTERN ENSURES PROMED’S BRAND, PHILOSOPHY, SYSTEMS, POLICIES, AND PROCEDURES ARE PROPERLY IMPLEMENTED AND OBSERVED.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, Windows operating systems, and common applications
• Strong willingness to learn and take initiative
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

• Demonstrated interest in an IT position
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Experience with customer service or technical support
• Coursework or hands-on experience with scripting, automation, or cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues
• Assist with setup, configuration, and deployment of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
• Help monitor IT systems and escalate issues as needed
• Assist with inventory management of IT assets and equipment
• Follow IT policies, security standards, and best practices
• Participate in IT projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned
