Our State Government Practice Group (SGPG) is seeking an experienced IT Enterprise Architect to lead and support enterprise architecture initiatives for our clients. This role will assist in designing, implementing, and optimizing technology solutions that align IT capabilities with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Enterprise Architecture and related disciplines, including familiarity with relevant standards and frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, CMMI, ISO, and ArchiMate). You will assist future state government clients with: Developing and documenting target state architectures and transition plans for major business transformation initiatives. Assessing their current and desired IT architecture management maturity and developing/implementing multiyear plans to incrementally close their maturity gaps. Conducting architecture assessments (including assessing infrastructure, IT management models, and processes) and providing detailed recommendations for improvement, including implementation plans/roadmaps. Conducting business process mapping and analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and alignment with technology solutions. Collaborating with business and IT leaders to help ensure technology investments support enterprise goals and deliver measurable value. Facilitating architecture review boards, presenting proposed solutions, and building consensus among technical and business stakeholders. Managing technology selection and implementation projects to help ensure adherence to architectural principles, standards, and policies. Designing and overseeing the implementation of cloud architectures, helping ensure integration, scalability, and security across cloud platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Salesforce, and Office 365). You will bring a mix of exceptional organizational and self-management qualities, strong leadership capabilities, effective written and verbal communication skills, and a willingness to travel. The candidate filling this position can be located remotely, anywhere in the United States, or can be located in any one of our physical offices. You should have experience managing technical teams and efforts to implement large-scale technology solutions. The candidate filling this position must be able to work within Guam Chamorro Standard Time and is expected to work on-site at the client location for at least 8 weeks out of the year, for two-week durations for each trip. Travel Expectations: Approximately 50% travel to client sites is anticipated to support future projects.
