About The Position

The Director of IT is responsible for managing the planning and development of business applications to support the needs of internal and external customers. This role oversees critical business tracks such as Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Manufacturing, Accounting, and Quality applications within the DFV enterprise. The Director also reviews data architecture and ensures effective integration between key applications like JDE and Mainframe, while leading a team to deliver modern IT solutions in an Agile environment.

Requirements

  • 15+ years' experience in enterprise applications such as JDE and DC Connect.
  • Experience in a management position overseeing staff and managing third parties.
  • Demonstrated experience in executing successful projects with cross-functional teams.
  • Domain understanding in Financials, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations, Planning, or Sales.
  • Ability to effectively present information and communicate findings to management.
  • Proficient in systems analysis tasks including logic flow charts and data flow analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of JDE, DC Connect, SCADA, and COLOS.
  • Ability to motivate teams and provide training to staff members.
  • Experience in delivering projects in an Agile manner.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills in English.

Nice To Haves

  • Consumer Packaged Goods/Food industry experience is beneficial.
  • MBA/Master's degree.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the planning and development of new and existing business applications such as JDE and DC Connect.
  • Develop detailed technical specifications to meet business functional requirements.
  • Document complex user requirements, business process flows, and program functions.
  • Monitor and resolve IT support activities in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate closely with the Plant engineering team and other cross-functional teams to meet business requirements.
  • Prepare and present progress reports regarding departmental projects and operations.
  • Assist in building the technology platform for IT enterprise applications.
  • Lead the delivery of data and system integration processes for seamless data flow.
  • Stay updated on technological changes and provide technical support and direction.
  • Recommend changes to systems, policies, and procedures for timely implementation.
  • Build an IT team proficient in modern frameworks and Agile methodologies.
  • Manage objectives and implementation plans for Enterprise IT Applications.
  • Maintain a portfolio of projects and provide oversight to implementation teams.
  • Develop budgets and ensure compliance with project planning.
