INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ASSOCIATE

About the position

The Information Technology Associate (ITA) is responsible for independently performing information technology and business functions necessary to support the 150+ departments required to transact in the FI$CaI system. The ITA plays an important role in the overall success of the FI$Cal system by providing production and system support. The ITA will provide functional analysis and working knowledge of data processing concepts, practices and methods to departmental end-users regarding FI$Cal system incidents and change; which includes timely incident communication and resolution of reported incident tickets by FI$Cal system users. The duties for this position are focused in the Business Technology Management domain, however, work may be assigned in the other domains as needed.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform information technology and business functions to support the FI$Cal system.
• Provide production and system support for the FI$Cal system.
• Conduct functional analysis and provide knowledge of data processing concepts to end-users.
• Communicate and resolve reported incident tickets by FI$Cal system users.
• Assist in other domains as needed.

Requirements

• Authorized to work in the US without the need for visa sponsorship.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Prolonged sitting in an office-setting environment.
• Ability to transport documents and/or equipment over 20 pounds.

Nice-to-haves

• IT and/or Accounting / Finance Education.
• Financial, Accounting, Budget related business/domain knowledge/experience.
• Experience with Testing, Defect Logging.
• Requirements gathering, Software Development Life Cycle experience.
• Documentation of requirements/issues/resolutions.
• Familiarity with SQL queries.
• Experience with Peoplesoft Application or FI$Cal.
