About The Position
Under general supervision of the Information Technology Manager I (PPRO Manager) in the Projects, Procurement, & Reporting Office (PPRO), the Information Technology Associate provides information technology (IT) commodities and services procurement and support as a PPRO Procurement Analyst for IT procurement. The incumbent is responsible for assisting and supporting the PPRO in IT commodity and services procurement for programs throughout the California Department of Education (CDE). The incumbent provides analysis and recommendations, as assigned and needed, by the PPRO Manager. The incumbent assists with development and maintenance of internal PPRO processes and procedures and supports the PPRO in procurement reporting requirements.
