WORK WITH US – Opportunities in Information Technology Join Jefferies' Fixed Income Technology Group (in SMG Tech) as an Analyst, serving as the critical bridge between cutting-edge fintech and our sophisticated trading desk handling Agency MBS, CLO issuance and trading, and primary ABS/RMBS issuance. You'll develop and optimize the technology infrastructure powering our trading, client relationships and market-making activities—from real-time pricing engines, trading and risk management tools, to deal management platforms. Collaborate directly with traders and sales professionals to understand complex workflows, troubleshoot systems in real-time, and implement enhancements that drive revenue and operational efficiency. This unique role combines technical development with deep structured products market exposure, handling billions in daily trading volume while building the competitive systems that win major market share. Requirements

Candidates pursuing a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical field
Expected graduation between December 2025 – June 2026
Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices
Relational Database experience
Experience with AWS Services: EKS and Kafka
Experience using AI tools such as MS Co-pilot
Experience in Java / Spring software development
Experience with Trading workflows in Fixed income
Exposure to DevOps practices and tools
Experience with Test Automation tools including Junit
Understanding of fixed income markets and products
Familiarity with pricing, analytics, or risk/p&l concepts in a fixed income trading context
Experience working with large-scale, distributed, high volume, low-latency systems in a trading environment
Experience with ION
Full stack React based Javascript framework experience
Ability to learn and adapt quickly as you collaborate with others in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
Team player who excels at working both independently and as part of a team
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication
