The Position: We are seeking a Junior Information Technology Analyst to support day-to-day IT operations in our downtown Chicago office. This role is ideal for an early-career IT professional with 1–2 years of hands-on experience who is looking to deepen their exposure to enterprise IT systems, endpoint management, and security-focused environments. The position requires regular onsite presence Tuesday through Thursday to support end users and core IT operations.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of professional experience in an IT support, helpdesk, or systems support role
  • Working knowledge of Windows and macOS troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with endpoint management or MDM tools (Jamf experience strongly preferred)
  • Basic understanding of identity and access management concepts
  • Exposure to cloud-based productivity tools (Google Workspace, Zoom)
  • Foundational understanding of networking concepts (Wi-Fi, VPNs, DNS)
  • Interest in IT security and best practices in a compliance-driven environment
  • Strong customer service and communication skills with a consistent focus on delivering a positive end-user experience
  • Ability to work independently during onsite hours and manage competing priorities

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred certifications (CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+)

Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 1–2 technical support for employees across Windows and macOS environments
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding activities, including device provisioning, account setup, and access management
  • Maintain and manage hardware and software inventories, including asset tracking, lifecycle management, and documentation of assigned devices and applications
  • Support endpoint management and patching activities using Jamf and NinjaOne
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues for onsite and remote users
  • Assist with identity and access management tasks in Okta and Google Workspace
  • Support network-related requests and troubleshooting in Cisco Meraki environments
  • Assist with monitoring and responding to endpoint security alerts in CrowdStrike
  • Support SaaS tools, including Zoom, GitHub, and AWS (basic access and user support)
  • Document incidents, requests, and procedures in the IT service management system
  • Follow established security, access control, and compliance procedures (e.g., SOC 2)
