Information Systems Specialist
About The Position
The Information Systems Specialist works under the supervision of the Director of Information Systems. He/she performs a wide variety of technical tasks related to all computer systems, including system changes and updates. He/she assists with the administration of the LAN/WAN system. He/she provides training classes on programs available on computer systems, and organizes a help desk for troubleshooting and answering questions regarding all services available from the IS department. He/she safeguards the public relations of the Hospital through consistent, professional conduct including appropriate attire and protection of patients and co-workers rights to privacy and confidentiality. He/she must be able and willing to perform all tasks associated with this position in accordance with the policies and procedures of Highland District Hospital.
Requirements
- Associates degree in a computer or health care related field or equivalent experience required.
