About The Position

Under general supervision, plans and designs the district's technology infrastructure, installs, configures, maintains, troubleshoots, repairs, tunes and operates information technology systems including infrastructure, systems administration, network administration, desktop administration, help desk and print services, systems security, software and systems engineering and project management. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with a major in computer information systems, computer science, computer electrical or electronic engineering, or a related degree.
• Two years of experience in two or more information technology systems directly related to infrastructure, system administration, network administration, systems security, software and systems engineering, or project management.
• Progressively responsible directly related experience may be substituted for the required education at the ratio of two years of experience for one year of education.

Nice To Haves

• VMWare virtualization experience preferred.
