The Information Systems Security Officer Level 3 (ISSO) is responsible for maintaining the operational security posture of information systems within Special Access Programs (SAPs) for the Air Force. This role involves close collaboration with the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) and Information System Officer (ISO) to manage security operations, ensure compliance with security standards, and oversee the day-to-day security activities of the systems. The ISSO III will also be involved in incident handling, personnel security, and security training, while providing support for various Department of Defense (DoD) agencies.
