About The Position

Secure the Mission. Set the Standard in Cybersecurity. Power3 Solutions is supporting a cybersecurity and physical security firm supporting the nation’s most critical systems and infrastructure. We’re seeking driven and experienced Information Systems Security Officers (ISSO) to support a premier cybersecurity and Information Assurance (IA) program in the Ft. Meade area. This role contributes to one of the community’s most advanced RMF-based programs, helping define the cybersecurity standards for the federal landscape. What You’ll Do As an ISSO, you will: Support the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) in maintaining operational security posture. Own and manage multiple System Security Plans (SSPs). Provide technical guidance on system security matters and RMF process compliance. Obtain and maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) for supported systems. Assist in developing and enforcing security policies across the customer environment. Provide configuration management for hardware/software/firmware affecting security. Communicate effectively with system owners and customers to ensure policy adherence. Use tools such as eMASS, EXACTA, ACAS/Nessus, Trellis, Splunk, Latte Art, and ServiceNow for assessment and documentation.

Requirements

  • TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • High School Diploma and 10 years of related experience OR Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering, or a related field (may substitute 4 years of experience)
  • IAM Level I–III or IAT Level I–III certifications (e.g., CISSP, Security+, CAP, GCIH, GSLC, SSCP, CISA, etc.)
  • Strong working knowledge of RMF, NIST 800-53 controls, and customer security requirements
