About The Position

The ISSO will provide comprehensive security support for FBI IT systems throughout their lifecycle, ensuring compliance with SAA requirements and maintaining system Authorization to Operate (ATO).

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of relevant experience OR Master's Degree and 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in system security documentation, compliance, and continuous monitoring.
• Knowledge of NIST RMF, FISMA, and federal security standards.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SCI access.
• TS clearance with /SCI eligibility required

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and maintain SAA documentation, including risk assessments and ATO packages.
• Ensure systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of per FBI and federal policies.
• Conduct continuous monitoring and compliance activities to maintain system security.
• Respond to agency and federal data calls, including vulnerability and patch reporting.
• Act as the primary point of contact for system owners regarding security posture and compliance.
