About The Position

The Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO 2) at AT&T Global Public Sector plays a crucial role in supporting the Defense and National Security Cyber Security Job. This position involves managing risk and security posture, overseeing PKI infrastructure, and implementing security solutions to ensure a secure mission environment for the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO). The ISSO will provide expertise in information systems security, security control assessments, and program management, contributing to the overall mission of the National Security Team.

Requirements

  • High School diploma with 8 years of experience; Associates degree with 6 years of experience; Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience; Master's degree with 2 years of experience.
  • Must meet minimum requirements for DoD 8570 IAT Level 1 certification, including one of the following: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with conducting research and analysis.
  • Familiarity with network and information system security principles and best practices.
  • Ability to engender rapport with military, civilians, and other contractors at all levels.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Understanding of system methodologies including client server, web hosting, and firewalls.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical configurations and make recommendations on the protection of classified and sensitive data.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize risk management system and trust agent FISMA software systems to manage risk and track security posture.
  • Manage PKI infrastructure for authentication.
  • Support implementation for new DAR solution for global disk encryption, developing management policy to prevent document and data leakage.
  • Assist with cyber objectives, strategic implementation plans, milestone review, and portfolio management.
  • Support with vulnerability scans and provide reports on compliance to leadership.
  • Assist with tracking and reporting risks identified in the vulnerability scans.
  • Assist with coordination and review of specific IATO and ATO requirements of the network.
