About The Position

This position will perform duties as a Computer System Administrator with secondary duties as a Classified Cybersecurity Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) for the LM Space facility in Cape Canaveral, FL. System Administration consists of installing, configuring, and sustaining Operating System baselines on workstations and servers. Classified Cybersecurity Analysts help secure lifesaving products and critical state-of-the-art engineering and manufacturing systems by applying cutting edge cybersecurity principles. Requirements

  • Have and maintain a DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or Higher or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
  • Hands-on experience with industry standard Information Assurance tools.
  • Technical familiarity with Active Directory, Windows or UNIX-based operating systems, and their security requirements.
  • Ability to obtain TS/SCI with Polygraph. Must be a U.S. Citizen.

  • Experience with federal systems authorized through the Risk Management Framework.
  • Experience with industrial control systems (ICS)/ operational technology (OT).
  • Experience with system lifecycle planning (predictive).

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day information system security operations including hardware and software implementations.
  • Carry out technical administration of IS in accordance with internal LM and customer security requirements, primarily Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Upkeep, monitor, analyze, and respond to network and security events.
  • Document compliance actions within the approved automated compliance tracking system or develop a plan of actions and milestones (POA&M) with the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to address non-compliance in the allotted time frame.
  • Ensure systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with internal security policies and practices outlined in the security plan.
  • Balance competing priorities amongst multiple customers and programs.
  • Auditing is a large part of this role’s responsibility.
