About The Position

Oasis Systems has an exciting opportunity for an ET-4 Information Systems Security Office (ISSO) and Systems Administrator (SysAd) located at the Patrick Space Force Base (SFB) in Brevard County Florida, supporting various Battle Management (BM) and Command & Control, Communications, Intelligence, Reconnaissance, and Surveillance (C4ISR) programs for the 46th Test Squadron/Operating Location Alpha (TGBD).

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in an applicable field and minimum of 10 years of applicable experience is required. Additional years of relevant experience may be subsituted for education.
  • Active Top Secret Clearance is required; must be able to obtain and maintain a DoW TS/SCI clearance (i.e. DCID 6/4 eligibility); position will also will involve eligibility for access to Special Access Program (SAP) information.
  • U.S. Citizenship Required.
  • Must have a current Security+ (or equivalent) certification.
  • In-depth knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) with the ability to write all supporting documentation.
  • Must be willing to perform duties within a SAPF, SCIF, Classified (collateral) areas and routine office environments.
  • Familiar with and able to present data and recommendations to a large audience.
  • Recent experience with MS Window’s Domains, Operation Systems and Active Directory.
  • Thorough, detail oriented, and organized, with excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects at once.
  • Able to identify and initiate corrective actions when a security incident or vulnerability is discovered in accordance with incidence response plan.
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and independent thinker with out-of-the-box ideas.
  • Ability to communicate and present technical information, orally and in writing, to customers, peers and higher tiered support organizations.
  • Must be comfortable working in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds unassisted.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience with AFNET Operations.
  • Preferred experience working with/supporting Government System Security Officers and/or classified equipment custodians.
  • Preferred experience managing, configuring and tracking cryto equipment at differing security levels.
  • Recent experience with MS Window’s Domains, Operation Systems and Active Directory.
  • Exceptional customer relationship management highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) for the organization’s Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet) and Non-secured Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNet) domains as well as the Special Access Program (SAP), Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) facilities (SAPF/SCIF).
  • Serve as the organization’s primary source of advice and assistance on the confidentiality, integrity and availability of classified and unclassified information systems and data using Air Force-/Space Force-approved network engineering practices, security standards, and DoD/Component/local industrial security policies and procedures.
  • Produce comprehensive documentation to support Risk Management Framework (RMF) life-cycles for numerous Information Systems across multiple security domains.
  • Ensure all Information System (IS) security-related documentation is current and accessible to properly authorized individuals.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of Information Systems in accordance with downward-directed mandates.
  • Conduct technical and non-technical reviews and audits as prescribed by the organization’s Director and applicable directives.
  • Perform classified media control functions, to include implementing security measures and adhering to data-transfer protocols.
  • Follow Incident and Emergency Response Plans when situations warrant.
  • Build, manage and maintain user information systems, to include configuring, patching and ensuring government-desktop standards are adhered to.
  • Diagnose and resolve local client network problems.
  • Install, test, maintain and upgrade information system software; and/or ensure the rigorous application of information security policies, principles and practices in the utilization and delivery of network services.
  • Some travel may be required.
  • Ad-hoc support as required.
