We are seeking a highly motivated Information Systems Security Manager to join our Front Office Group in support of critical Air Force operations. Requirements

  • Active Top-Secret clearance required, SCI eligible.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • BA/BS, 10 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, of which 3 years must be in the DoD, or 15 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, of which 5 years must be in the DoD.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated experience in security program management within DoD or Air Force environments.
  • Strong familiarity with DoD/USAF security procedures including classified transmission, death mail protection, courier operations, and incident reporting.
  • Experience developing and implementing Security Classification Guides (SCGs).
  • Ability to interpret and enforce Air Force and DoD security directives and policies across physical and cyber domains.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with military and civilian personnel, visitors, and contractors.
  • Relevant security clearances, certifications, and training as required by mission and organizational policy.

Responsibilities

  • Exercise delegated access control authority for secure and controlled areas in accordance with DoD/USAF security policies.
  • Assist with opening and closing controlled areas, ensuring all entry/exit procedures meet security requirements.
  • Support arming and disarming facility alarm systems as required and directed by local security protocols.
  • Assist in conducting end-of-duty security checks to verify integrity of controlled areas and systems.
  • Maintain working knowledge of and adhere to Department of Defense (DoD) and Air Force security procedures, including classified transmission protocols, protection of incoming mail, courier requirements, and handling of security incidents.
  • Facilitate security incident reporting and ensure awareness of potential violation sanctions under applicable regulations.
  • Escort personnel, visitors, contractors, and other parties through secure areas as necessary in support of mission requirements, consistent with local security office and organizational policies.
  • Provide guidance and oversight for compliance with classification guidance and procedures, including experience with Security Classification Guide (SCG) development and implementation.
  • Administer and oversee information systems security programs, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information systems per Air Force and DoD cybersecurity guidelines.
  • Coordinate with the Facility Security Officer (FSO), local security office, and other leadership to integrate physical and information security practices seamlessly.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and training to support continuous compliance and risk reduction.
  • Perform routine reviews and risk assessments of security controls, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending corrective actions.
  • Support security education and awareness programs across the Front Office Group and relevant stakeholders.
  • Selected candidate will perform other duties as assigned.
