MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to join our Air Force / Space team at Eglin AFB. The ISSE's primary function is to support the United States Air Force's 53rd Wing Technical Support Services (53rd WTSS) contract.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline from an accredited college or university. 2 additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree
  • 2+ years direct/related experience
  • Active / valid DoD 8570.01-M IAT-II certification
  • Experience using various IA tools in audit collection, audit review, audit management, and end point protection (ACAS, HBSS, McAfee ePO, ENS, DLP)
  • Experience with RMF, ICD 503, NIST SP800-53 or DCID 6/3, or knowledge of current authorization practices, particularly within the DoD is desired
  • Experience with AWS Government Cloud and AWS Service offerings
  • Experience with security efforts related to modern Windows, Linux, UNIX, Cisco, SQL or Oracle databases, and virtualized systems

Responsibilities

  • Perform system or network designs that encompass multiple Cloud hosting environments, to include those with differing data protection/classification requirements
  • Support ATO accreditation with analyzing security scans, organizational policies, and perform continuous monitoring
  • Provide security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management
  • Recommend cybersecurity-enabled products to implement security measures that provide confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication and non-repudiation
  • Perform/support or review security assessments to identify IA vulnerabilities or non-compliances and recommend mitigations
  • Validate and verify security requirements, establish security designs, and develop security architectures
  • Work on project teams responsible for engineering and packaging releases to integrate within the customer's production IT environment
  • Review, provide feedback, and help update/maintain SSP documentation
  • Support security authorization activities in compliance with Government standards and the RMF
