The Department of Information Technology is excited to announce the recruitment to fill one (1) vacancy for a Information Systems Programmer Analyst IV (SharePoint). As an Information Systems Programmer Analyst IV with a SharePoint focus, you will serve as a subject matter expert supporting the development, maintenance, and enhancement of SharePoint solutions used by departments across the County. You'll work closely with business users to troubleshoot issues, build customized tools and workflows, and provide guidance on best practices. Your ability to create intuitive, efficient solutions within SharePoint and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem will help improve operations, collaboration, and service delivery Countywide. Why choose us?   • Working with third party SharePoint consulting firms managing vendor security access, custom web parts, and auditing site security
  • Implementing custom widgets within the SharePoint environment; leveraging REST API
  • Developing Powershell scripts to analyze network storage and online storage systems and using third party migration tools to migrate from classic SharePoint to SharePoint online
  • Managing and updating global app configuration and web-parts within the SharePoint Online and traditional SharePoint sites
  • Creating and maintaining custom SharePoint workflows, forms, and automations
  • Documenting technical processes and system configurations, creating training resources and knowledge centers supporting internal operations, and providing user guidance
  • Developing and deploying custom webparts for classic SharePoint and SharePoint online
  • Developing front end coding with Java Script, HTML
  • Experienced in building and maintaining SharePoint sites and solutions in classic SharePoint and SharePoint Online in a multi-departmental or governmental structure
  • Self-directed and able to manage tasks with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable gathering requirements from stakeholders and translating them into user-friendly tools
  • An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing
  • An adept problem-solver within the Microsoft-Azure environment
  • Possession of a bachelor degree from an accredited college or university, with a major in computer science or information processing or closely related field.
  • Four (4) years of full-time or its equivalent experience performing software applications programming and/or systems analysis, at least one year of which must have included programming responsibility.
  • Additional-qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis, up to a maximum of four (4) years.
  • Classic SharePoint Server Certification
  • Familiarity with Power Automate and PowerApps
  • Possess certifications in front-end web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Experience working in government or large organizations
