Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) includes all of the engineering disciplines responsible for systems design & test with every Raytheon product. Our engineers are responsible for all elements of the development lifecycle for test including: test requirements, test system design, flight simulations, hardware-in-the-loop, computer-in-the-loop, advanced engineering prototyping technology, flight operations for manned and unmanned vehicles, environmental testing, environmental characterization and engineering laboratory management. We are hands-on, designing with the latest technology and tools, and integrate state of the art test solutions with the most advanced engineering systems in the world. As an integral part of the Test Environment Support Administration (TESA) team, you be working with both leading-edge technologies and legacy systems to support multiple products and programs throughout Raytheon. You will provide Test Equipment (TE) integration, security consultation, troubleshooting, sustainment, and compliance with the ultimate responsibility to maintain test integrity and the availability for our test systems. This position is 100% On-Site in Tucson, AZ

Requirements

  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience with systems administration of Linux, Networking, and or Windows (in desktop or server environments)
  • Experience implementing, documenting and accrediting IT systems against controls to support US Government CUI standards
  • Active DoD 8140 or 8570.01m IAT II certified credentials (Sec+, CISM, etc.)
  • US Citizen - Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as a Systems Engineer with an understanding of managing Operational Technology and/or test systems in a production environment
  • Experience working in a classified and controlled unclassified (CUI) environments to include Special Access Programs.
  • Excellent customer service and training skills, including oral and technical written communications, and independent problem-solving ability of hardware/software issues
  • Experience with NISPOM (32 CFR 117), JSIG, RMF (NIST 800-37/-53) (NIST 800-171), ICD-503, and DAAPM, oversight/execution of A&A processes
  • Hands-on with ACAS, SCAP, STIG Viewer, DISA SRGs, and SIEM/Vulnerability Tools SPLUNK, NESSUS etc.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, document, analyze, test, integrate, debug, conduct research, and/or discover and analyze security flaws or vulnerabilities in software, networks, systems, applications and/or provide mitigation strategies to support RMF/ATOs
  • Integrate new architectural features into existing infrastructures, designs cybersecurity architectural artifacts, provide architectural analysis of cyber security features and relates existing system to future needs and trends
  • Evaluate computer software and network for threats and/or malware; collect data from a variety of network security tools, including intrusion detection system alerts, firewall and network traffic logs, and hosts system logs to analyze events that occur within their environment.
  • Employ and provide advanced forensic tools, technique, and intrusion support for attack reconstruction and high technology investigations, while reviewing threat data from various sources.
  • Provide Cybersecurity compliance guidance to engineering for production and procurement of TE
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all equipment assets in accordance with RMF requirements to ensure proper accountability, configuration management, and cybersecurity risk tracking throughout each asset’s lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with Cybersecurity to ensure TE compliance (using tools such as Nessus, Splunk, Ivanti, and locally procured software
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations to ensure changes do not affect the availability or test integrity on TE
  • Support any and all reviews required prior for implementation of any changes to TE
