The Information Systems Developer of AI and Automated Solutions Intern works as an apprentice under the direction of the VP of Information Systems and is responsible for functions needed in the IT Department. The Information Systems Developer of AI and Automated Solutions Intern will play a key role in the continued growth and success of the Company. Other key responsibilities include: Responsibilities: Collaborate with the AVP and project teams to understand business problems and contribute to solution design using AI, automation, and analytics. Assist in developing low-code and pro-code solutions using modern technologies (e.g., Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Azure services, .NET, or similar). Help build, test, and maintain RPA workflows (e.g., with Power Automate Desktop or other RPA tools) to streamline repetitive business processes. Support the development and deployment of data pipelines and integrations (e.g., using SQL, APIs, or Azure data services) to move and transform data between systems. Contribute to the creation and optimization of BI reports and dashboards (e.g., Power BI) that provide actionable insights for business stakeholders. Assist in experimenting with and integrating AI/ML capabilities (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, or Python-based models) into business applications and automations. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, sprint planning, and team ceremonies, incorporating feedback from senior developers and the AVP. Help document technical designs, workflows, data definitions, and solution configurations in a clear and organized manner. Perform unit testing, support system testing, and assist with troubleshooting and resolving defects or production issues under guidance. Work with business users to gather feedback, refine prototypes, and improve usability and adoption of developed solutions. Follow established development standards, security practices, and governance guidelines defined by the AVP and Information Systems leadership.
