About The Position

The Information Systems Analyst will provide security, reporting, application, scripting, and hardware support to facilitate the business needs of the Information Systems department as well as the organization. The Systems Analyst will provide level 2 and 3 application support as well as assisting in the design and maintenance of information systems, security, infrastructure, and applications. The Systems Analyst will be able to write and deliver reports from supported systems. The Systems Analyst will have a firm understanding of the ITIL Framework and be able to operationalize its ideas in the work environment.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or comparable technical school equivalent in Information Systems.
  • Three (3) years of experience in an information systems role.
  • Understanding of network and system security including HTTPS, TLS, SSHE, RBAC, AD, and ADFS.
  • Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management.
  • Understanding of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity.
  • Understanding of ITIL Foundation principles.
  • Proficiency in Windows 10, Windows Server OS', Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, preferred.
  • Three (3) years of experience with Powershell, Python, ServiceNow, VMware, SQL.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize ServiceNow application to manage problems, changes, incidents, requests, accurately and timely.
  • Utilize ServiceNow application to periodically review and submit items to be added in the CMDB.
  • Perform security management by participating as a local security coordinator (LSC).
  • Design, implement, and review identity and access profiles to align with HSC standards.
  • Design, implement, and review security profiles for information systems to ensure compliance with Lifepoint IT&S standards and policies as well as industry best standards.
  • Provide workstation, printer, application, and server support as needed.
  • Perform as primary and backup support resource to any mutually agreed items in the department resource and responsibility matrix.
  • Perform monthly patch management of Windows Servers - install patches as needed and reboots servers based on patch management schedule.
  • Participate in the evaluation and selection process of new software and hardware.
  • Design, implement, and review systems automation and orchestration techniques.
