The Information System Specialist supports the local branch and potentially other districts within our region with software, hardware, systems, servers, helpdesk, cybersecurity, and more. This role involves supporting end users on incidents logged in our online ticket system, assisting with regional requests, and providing basic level support for Windows server and Unix systems. The specialist will handle hardware installation, IT budget management, inventory, and procurement, as well as network issues (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi). Additionally, the role includes coaching and training end users on tools and applications, training branch management on system architecture and data management, and providing basic technical support for various systems. The specialist will also be on call for after-hours IS issues and may need to travel to support other offices. Other responsibilities include server room maintenance, automation, procurement, audio/visual equipment maintenance, telecom administration, and disaster recovery planning.
