About The Position

TS/SCI with ability to obtain a Counterintelligence Polygraph. This position will perform duties as a Classified Cybersecurity Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) at the LM Space facility in Sunnyvale CA. Classified Cybersecurity professionals secure critical state-of-the-art engineering and manufacturing systems by applying cutting edge cybersecurity principles. Requirements

  • TS/SCI with ability to obtain counterintelligence Polygraph.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
  • Hands-on experience with industry standard Information Assurance tools.
  • Technical familiarity with Windows or UNIX based operating systems, and their security requirements.
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Committee on National Security Systems Instruction (CNSSI) 1253, NIST SP 800-37 Risk Management Framework (RMF), and/or NIST SP 800-53 Security and Privacy Controls requirements.
  • Experience developing, reviewing and maintaining RMF artifacts.
  • Experience with obtaining and maintaining system ATOs.
  • Experience implementing changes and new technologies at multiple classification levels within large enterprise environments.
  • Experience with Information Assurance tools such as STIG Viewer, Nessus, Trellix, and Splunk.
  • Experience performing; security system hardening, analysis, vulnerability management, DISA STIGs.
  • Experience applying ICD 503 using the JSIG or NIST 800-53 on diverse computing platforms.
  • Prior experience with Windows or Linux Operating Systems.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day information system security operations including hardware and software implementations.
  • Carry out technical administration of IS in accordance with internal LM and customer security requirements, primarily Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Upkeep, monitor, analyze, and respond to network and security events.
  • Document compliance actions within the approved automated compliance tracking system or develop a plan of actions and milestones (POA&M) with the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to address non-compliance in the allotted time frame.
  • Ensure systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with internal security policies and practices outlined in the security plan.
  • Balance competing priorities amongst multiple customers and programs.
  • User and system auditing is an important part of this role’s responsibility.
