About The Position

TS/SCI with ability to obtain a Counterintelligence Polygraph. This position will perform duties as a Classified Cybersecurity Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) at the LM Space facility in Sunnyvale CA. Requirements

TS/SCI with ability to obtain counterintelligence Polygraph.
DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
Hands-on experience with industry standard Information Assurance tools.
Technical familiarity with Windows or UNIX based operating systems, and their security requirements.
Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Committee on National Security Systems Instruction (CNSSI) 1253, NIST SP 800-37 Risk Management Framework (RMF), and/or NIST SP 800-53 Security and Privacy Controls requirements.
Experience developing, reviewing and maintaining RMF artifacts.
Experience with obtaining and maintaining system ATOs.
Experience implementing changes and new technologies at multiple classification levels within large enterprise environments.
Experience with Information Assurance tools such as STIG Viewer, Nessus, Trellix, and Splunk.
Experience performing; security system hardening, analysis, vulnerability management, DISA STIGs.
Experience applying ICD 503 using the JSIG or NIST 800-53 on diverse computing platforms.
Prior experience with Windows or Linux Operating Systems.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day information system security operations including hardware and software implementations.
Carry out technical administration of IS in accordance with internal LM and customer security requirements, primarily Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Upkeep, monitor, analyze, and respond to network and security events.
Document compliance actions within the approved automated compliance tracking system or develop a plan of actions and milestones (POA&M) with the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to address non-compliance in the allotted time frame.
Ensure systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with internal security policies and practices outlined in the security plan.
Balance competing priorities amongst multiple customers and programs.
User and system auditing is an important part of this role’s responsibility.
