About The Position

Information System Security Officer, Senior The Opportunity: Designs, implements, and manages policies and procedures to ensure database and software security. Applies advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction. Mentors and may supervise team members.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience ensuring the security of information systems
• Experience directing and implementing information system security controls
• Experience reporting on and advising senior leaders and technical teams on status and information system security recommendations
• Experience developing and reporting a plan of action and milestone (POA&M)
• Experience developing documentation to ensure continuing approval to operate (ATO)
• Ability to navigate the approval to operate (ATO) accreditation and certification process
• Top Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience ensuring the security of information systems, or 12 years of experience ensuring the security of information systems

Nice To Haves

• Experience with securing information systems in the cloud
• Experience managing the full ATO accreditation and certification process
• Security + or CISSP Certification
