About The Position

The Information System Security Officer (ISSO) position at Raytheon is designed for early career professionals to support classified computing environments. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with two years of relevant experience or an advanced degree.
  • Experience in cybersecurity, systems security, or hardening.
  • Knowledge of compliance-based auditing using RMF, DAAPM, JSIG, NISPOM, and other regulations.
  • Experience with computer technologies such as databases, operating systems, and network hardware.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in DoD classified operating environments.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Experience with audit reviews of physical security and network logs.
  • Knowledge of cyber incident response management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to NISPOM Chapter 8, DAAPM, JSIG policies.
  • Conduct system compliance audits and security plan development.
  • Deliver information systems security education and awareness.
  • Assist in investigating information system security violations.
  • Prepare reports specifying corrective and preventative actions.
  • Collaborate with facility security team, program personnel, and government representatives.
  • Manage security sustainment activities including hardware and software change management.
