About The Position
The Information System Security Officer (ISSO) III at Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is responsible for maintaining the operational security posture of information systems, particularly within Special Access Programs (SAPs) supporting Department of Defense (DoD) agencies. This role requires close collaboration with the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) and Information System Owner (ISO) to ensure compliance with security protocols and to manage the security aspects of information systems effectively. The ISSO III will oversee daily security operations, incident handling, and security training, while also preparing and reviewing authorization packages and conducting security impact analyses.
