About The Position

Loch Harbour Group, Inc. (LHG) is seeking Information System Security Engineers (ISSE) III (Contingent Upon Award) to provide cybersecurity engineering expertise in support of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD). The ISSE will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) cybersecurity requirements by designing, implementing, and maintaining secure information systems. This is a Key Personnel role requiring technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and adherence to cybersecurity policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent STEM discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in: Capturing and refining security requirements. Developing and implementing security controls. Performing vulnerability scanning and remediation. Applying secure configurations, patches, and updates.
  • Certifications: Must hold one of the following certifications (Required skill): CASP+ CE (CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner) CCNP Security (Cisco Certified Network Professional Security) CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) CISSP (or Associate) (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) GCED (GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender) GCIH (GIAC Certified Incident Handler) CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional)
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Active Secret clearance Interim acceptable at award
  • Willingness to travel to up to 20%

Responsibilities

  • Capture, analyze, and refine information security operational and security requirements.
  • Develop and implement security controls, configuration changes, and system hardening to ensure compliance with DoD standards.
  • Perform vulnerability scanning, remediation, and patch management for hardware and software systems.
  • Conduct security assessments and validate security configurations for operating systems and applications.
  • Ensure systems meet Risk Management Framework (RMF) and DoD cybersecurity policies.
  • Provide guidance on secure system development and configuration management.
  • Support government customers in cybersecurity planning, reporting, and compliance documentation.
