About The Position
Senior Information System Security Engineer LOCATION: Hanscom AFB, MA Salary Range: $160k-$175k annually depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications JOB STATUS: Full-time; salaried CLEARANCE: Top Secret TRAVEL: Limited, as needed Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Informaiton System Security Engineer located at Hanscom AFB in Bedford Massachusetts providing support in the C3I and Infrastructure Division (AFLCMC/HNI) which focuses on providing enterprise support to over 110 active Air Force, Air National Guard (ANG), and Air Force Reserve installations and bases. HNI also provides technical and policy support and provides C3I infrastructure for the USAF enterprise applications.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must have an active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
- Education: MA/MS degree and at least 10 years of job experience
- The following are mandatory qualifications for this position: MA/MS degree required and at least ten years of job experience, minimum of ten years of progressive t, must meet DoDD 8140 IAT level II or higher, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and SAP/SAR experience required.

- Minimum of 10 years of progressive technical experience related to IA/cyber engineering architecture, requirements determination, development, and implementation

Responsibilities
- Lead the coordination of A&A documentation
- Assist with design, development, implementation, integration of systems IA architecture
- Serve as PMO expert of IA security protections and requirements
- Assist in development of security plan of actions and milestone (POA&M) mitigations through timely assessment of POA&M corrective actions
- Conduct technical and nontechnical reviews and observe audits as necessary to support development and test efforts
