About The Position

Mission Technologies is seeking a highly organized and experienced Information System Project Manager to support the Live Mission Operations Network (LMON) Task Order. This role provides programmatic planning, scheduling, execution oversight, and stakeholder coordination in support of research, development, integration, installation, and sustainment activities across geographically dispersed USAF training ranges. The Information System Project Manager leads project planning and performance tracking, ensuring successful alignment with customer expectations and all Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements. This position requires strong skills in scheduling, risk management, financial tracking, and deliverable oversight. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating in a complex DoD environment and coordinating across engineering, cybersecurity, logistics, and installation teams.

Requirements

  • 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
  • Experience managing complex project plans within a government contracting environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project (required)
  • Proven experience in overseeing complex IT/communications projects, including deployment, subcontractor/vendor management, and scheduling.
  • Strong background in project scheduling, cost/schedule tracking, and performance oversight
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting DoD range systems, network integration programs, or technical installation efforts
  • Experience managing CDRLs and deliverables for Government customers
  • Experience in project risk management and cost forecasting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI (strongly preferred)
  • Project Management certification such as PMP, PgMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, or equivalent
  • Familiarity with Confluence and Jira for documentation/tracking.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal teams and Government stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, constraints, and success criteria
  • Develop, maintain, and manage project schedules using Microsoft Project as the authoritative tool
  • Coordinate project phases, sequence work, and assign responsibilities to support efficient execution
  • Lead cost and schedule performance tracking in alignment with LMON PMP and MSR requirements
  • Prepare status reports summarizing cost, schedule, risks, and performance trends
  • Monitor execution progress to ensure control of scope, schedule, and budget
  • Conduct risk and issue management, execute mitigation plans, and escalate concerns as needed
  • Support LMON deliverables such as PMP updates, MSRs, PMRs, and CDRLs
  • Work with engineering and technical teams to plan and track integration, installation, and sustainment activities across multiple sites
  • Facilitate communication across internal teams, subcontractors, and Government customers
  • Ensure adherence to organizational project management processes and PWS requirements
  • Support conference planning, data collection, report inputs, and briefing development
  • Perform additional project management duties as assigned
