About The Position
POSITION PURPOSE To assist the Supervisor with effective operation of the Information Services Department.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Ability to obtain an LC4 or higher Indiana Librarian Certification (IAC 5-1-8) (CLICK HERE to learn more)

Responsibilities
- Research and respond to customer queries by utilizing the multiple resources of the Library to obtain correct information
- Provide Readers Advisory Services and train public on use of library resources and available technology, both individually and in group settings
- Assist Department Supervisor with collection development and maintenance
- Plan, promote, and host adult programs and participate in community outreach events
- Monitor the physical environment, interpret library policies and safety procedures, and exercise judgement to provide effective library service
