The Information Services Specialist II performs enrollment processing to accept, prioritize, identify, verify, image and index student documents received via electronic transmission or postal mail for campus departments in a timely and accurate manner, using University Admission, Registrar and Financial Aid guidelines.

  • Image and index all documents using various enterprise systems, ensure documents meet quality standards, operate scanning equipment, and verify content is being accurately scanned.
  • Process and authenticate electronic documents in Hyland OnBase system workflow queues.
  • Demonstrate integrity in working with confidential information while maintaining FERPA compliance.
  • Assist in designing, testing, and implementing future workflow enhancements.
  • May serve as Enrollment Operations Mail Room lead, including coordinating with University Central Receiving, overseeing letter fulfillment, and processing checks.
  • Participate in various training opportunities to stay current and improve knowledge base of various platforms and policies affecting document processing.
  • Attend required meetings and support University admission events as assigned.
  • Associate's degree and three years of work experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
  • To the extent this position requires the holder to research, work on, or have access to critical infrastructure as defined in Section 117.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code, the ability to maintain the security or integrity of the critical infrastructure is a minimum qualification to be hired and to continue to be employed in the position.
  • Demonstrated history of integrity and ethical behavior when working with confidential and sensitive information
