About The Position

The Information Security Risk Specialist will work with the United States Navy to identify cyber risks, understand relevant policies, and develop a comprehensive mitigation plan. This role involves gathering technical, environmental, and personnel information from subject matter experts to assess the threat landscape and guide the client through actionable plans, including presentations and whitepapers. The position offers an opportunity to enhance skills in Risk Management Framework (RMF), Information Assurance, and Assessment and Authorization while actively contributing to information security efforts.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with DoD Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, and RMF.
  • Experience with system and network vulnerability analysis, risk assessment, and risk mitigation analyses.
  • Contingency planning and knowledge of firewall policy, ports, and protocols.
  • Secret Clearance required.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • IAT or IAM Level II Certification such as Security+ CE, CISM, CISSP, or CASP Certification.

  • Experience with Xacta, eMASS, ACAS, VRAM, HBSS, and Altiris.
